The TD Charitable Foundation Provides Generous Gift to Boys & Girls Club of Martin County

Members of the Boys & Girls Club and their families can forget about the dreaded "summer slide," thanks to the generous donation to the Summer Enrichment Program provided by the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank ®.

The funding supports educational activities in reading and math (many facilitated by certified teachers) that help bridge the summer learning loss. Each day, members participate in interactive lessons, fun activities, and games that ignite their natural curiosity and encourage playful investigation. The program is designed to keep members learning while they are having fun. 

“Across all ages - from kindergarten to high school- our summer programming is incredibly fun and engaging. Action-packed field trips. Digital storytelling. A culinary academy. Junior staff internship programs. Summer learning loss academic games. Wellness - mind and body. Breakfast, lunch, snack. With partners like the generous folks at the TD Charitable Foundation, the entire program is free of charge. That’s the kind of summer all kids deserve. That’s the kind of summer that makes our community special,” explained Keith “Fletch” Fletcher, BGCMC President and CEO.

Thanks to the TD Charitable Foundation, over 650 students are enrolled in Boys & Girls Club of Martin County’s Summer Enrichment Program.
